Auburn basketball head coach Bruce Pearl has been named to the watchlist for the 2025 Naismith Men’s College Coach of the Year.
Now in his 11th season with Auburn, Pearl has led the Tigers to national prominence, securing No. 1 rankings in both 2022 and 2025. Under his leadership, Auburn has claimed SEC Championships in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2024.
Currently, the Tigers hold the best record in college basketball at 25-2 overall and 13-1 in SEC play. They also lead the nation in Quad 1 victories and boast the highest offensive efficiency in the KenPom Rankings era.
Pearl is among three SEC coaches to be included on the prestigious watchlist, which was announced on Friday.
