Five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore has officially decommitted from LSU, reopening his recruitment. Moore, ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect in the 2025 class, is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound standout from Duncanville, Texas. He initially committed to LSU in August but announced his decision to reconsider his options on Thursday.
Before choosing LSU, Moore was considering Ohio State, Oregon, and Texas, and those programs have remained in contact despite his prior commitment. His departure marks a significant loss for LSU, as he was the second-highest-ranked recruit in their class, trailing only five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood from Belleville, Michigan.
Despite Moore’s decision, LSU still holds six ESPN 300 commitments, including Underwood, top-ranked running back Harlem Berry, cornerback Jaboree Antoine, offensive linemen Devin Harper and Tyler Miller, and linebacker Charles Ross.
In his statement on X, Moore clarified that he will not be entertaining new offers from schools.
