Kansas State Secures Commitment from OT Brandon Sneh
Kansas State has bolstered its offensive line by landing a commitment from Wagner transfer Brandon Sneh. Quality offensive tackles are in high demand in the transfer portal, and the Wildcats experienced that firsthand. However, after extending an offer to Sneh in late December, the coaching staff was confident they had found their ideal candidate. Sneh scheduled an official visit to Manhattan for January 7-8, but his recruitment quickly intensified as other programs also sought to secure the talented lineman.
On Wednesday, Sneh officially committed to Kansas State, selecting the Wildcats over offers from Colorado, Illinois, Houston, and Cal, among others. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound tackle, who did not allow a sack throughout the 2024 season at Wagner, arrives with two years of eligibility remaining.
According to Pro Football Focus, Sneh earned an 81 pass-blocking grade and a 72 run-blocking grade, ranking among the top linemen at the FCS level. His primary focus during the recruitment process was finding a program that could help him develop for the NFL. Given Kansas State’s recent success in producing offensive linemen such as KT Leveston and Cooper Beebe, the Wildcats’ track record played a key role in his decision.
“The top priority I’m looking for in a school is the development aspect because my final goal is the NFL,” Sneh told 247 Sports before his commitment.
Sneh’s collegiate journey began at Elizabeth City State College, a Division II program in North Carolina. After transferring to Wagner, he played a key role in their four-win season last fall. His standout performance led to significant interest from over 20 programs before ultimately choosing Kansas State.
With his size, quick feet, and versatility to play both tackle positions, Sneh is expected to compete for a starting role immediately. Kansas State faces the challenge of replacing both starting tackles, as Easton Kilty graduated and Carver Willis transferred to Washington. While Andrew Leingang stepped up in the bowl game, he may transition to an interior role, making Sneh’s presence crucial in solidifying the offensive line.
Though Sneh may not be the highest-rated addition, he has the potential to be one of the most impactful transfers for the Wildcats. With more additions still expected, Kansas State continues to strengthen its roster through the portal.
