Breaking: Recently De-committed quarterback Officially Agree To Join Hokies Football

Virginia Tech is still actively pursuing quarterback , who de-committed from the program in November. Offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen recently visited Falzone, signaling the Hokies’ continued interest in bringing him back into the fold.

Falzone originally committed to Virginia Tech in June 2023, marking Brent Pry’s first pledge in the 2026 class. The four-star quarterback from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, is among the top prospects in his class. However, five months later, he decided to reopen his recruitment, a significant setback for the Hokies. Despite this, Virginia Tech’s coaching staff has maintained communication with him.

Following his de-commitment, Falzone has received multiple offers from major programs and has taken visits to powerhouse schools like Ohio State and Penn State. His recruitment has gained significant traction, making it a challenge for the Hokies to regain his commitment.

Meanwhile, Virginia Tech secured a pledge from wide receiver Cameron Sparks from Chattanooga, Tennessee, earlier this month. Sparks is currently the lone commitment in the 2026 class, though recruiting efforts are expected to ramp up in the coming months. The Hokies are also set to welcome quarterbacks A.J. Brand from South Carolina and Kelden Ryan from Texas in the 2025 class. They will join returning signal-callers Kyron Drones, Pop Watson, and Davi Belfort, forming a competitive quarterback room.

Falzone’s skill set makes him an ideal fit for Virginia Tech’s offense, as he possesses both strong passing ability and mobility. Whether he will reconsider his commitment remains uncertain, especially with elite programs vying for his services. However, Pry and Bowen are making a strong effort to bring him back, and their persistence indicates they still believe they have a shot. Only time will tell how Falzone’s recruitment unfolds, but Virginia Tech’s efforts are undeniable.
