In their Week 9 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Las Vegas Raiders were humiliated once more on Sunday, falling to the team 41–24. The Raiders collapsed as usual this season, but the huge final score doesn’t do justice to how tight this game was in the first half, with the two teams tied at 10 apiece. After Daniel Carlson’s field goal in the second quarter, the Las Vegas offense didn’t score again until a pointless touchdown from Brock Bowers with 41 seconds remaining.
With the loss, the Raiders’ season record falls to 2-7 and they have now lost five straight games. After the game, Maxx Crosby, a two-time All-Pro pass rusher, vented his fury over it. When Crosby told the reporters, “It (expletive) sucks to lose five in a row,” Although Crosby has expressed his dissatisfaction with the way the season has unfolded in recent weeks, he has made it apparent that he does not wish to be moved.
Due to the numerous reports that connected him to the Detroit Lions, he disclosed that he needed to discuss this matter with his team. If anybody has demonstrated a devotion for this franchise, it’s Crosby, but Raiders supporters will still be waiting until the trade deadline on November 5 to be sure. Since Luke Getsy and head coach Antonio Pierce have recently been under scrutiny, supporters are expecting that some coaching changes will be made as the bye week draws near.
Everyone is staying in Las Vegas for the time being, but with the NFL, anything can happen at any time.
