Before the Tigers play Texas A&M, the status of one of LSU’s starting wide receivers is suddenly in doubt.
On Thursday night, LSU’s availability report demoted CJ Daniels, who has started six of seven games, to doubtful.
On Wednesday, Daniels was categorized as probable. Following a hit in the second half, he departed the Tigers’ 34-10 victory against Arkansas. Against the Razorbacks, Daniels recorded a season-high seven catches for 86 yards.

Daniels became one of LSU’s best receivers after transferring from Liberty in the offseason. He has 325 yards and 27 receptions, enough for fourth place on the squad.
Daniels missed the Tigers’ next game against Ole Miss because, according to LSU coach Brian Kelly, he worsened an earlier knee issue against South Alabama on September 28. He came back to Arkansas to play.
Two days prior to LSU’s game against the Aggies, senior linebacker Greg Penn, freshman running back Caden Durham, and senior right guard Miles Frazier were still considered probable.
