Compared to their 2-5 record at this stage of the season the previous year, the Green Bay Packers are now 5-2 after seven games. Of course, Jordan Love’s outstanding quarterbacking has been one of the numerous factors contributing to this start. Micah Parsons, an All-Pro linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, recently stated that the Packers star must be considered among the NFL’s top five quarterbacks.

Love has completed 61.6% of his throws for 1,351 yards, 15 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a passer rating of 94.1 in five games this season (he missed two due to a sprained MCL).

He has, of course, not been flawless. Love and Patrick Mahomes are tied for the league’s most interceptions with eight this season. However, the offensive is still improving and has added a fresh perspective that may help them even further.

Fans of the Packers were taken aback Wednesday afternoon when images and videos of former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh during practice in Green Bay went viral on social media. The writers cover the club for a number of publications.
After the Jets started 2-3 two weeks ago, Saleh was let go. Fans were even more intrigued by his arrival in Green Bay since, of course, he had been teaching former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in New York.
Saleh and Matt LaFleur, the head coach of the Packers, are great friends, and the former even volunteered to be the best man at the latter’s wedding. Curiously, however, LaFleur chose not to enlist defensive-minded coach Saleh to support Jeff Hafley’s defense.
Saleh is assisting the offensive instead. In addition to helping us, LaFleur stated, “it’s a good opportunity for him to learn and to give us perspective on how teams might see us, on how they might defend us.” “It’s definitely possible to identify weaknesses or gaps in our protection. That is our plan for using him.
The quarterback for LaFleur is eager to find out more about how opponents will approach him.

“Having a defensive mind talking offense and helping us with things he might be able to see, some of our scheme stuff, things the defense might be looking for, it helps,” Love told reporters following practice.
Love just said, “No,” when asked if he had ever questioned Rodgers about Saleh.
Saleh’s status with the Packers is flexible, according to LaFleur, and he will take a plane home on Thursday following practice.
It is quite unlikely that Saleh will have a permanent position on LaFleur’s staff, even if it is likely that he will return to Green Bay for a few more sessions. Saleh is guiding the offensive because of Hafley’s outstanding work with the Packers defense.
This offseason, the former Jets head coach will also be among the most sought-after defensive coordinator prospects.
