SAD NEWS: Just In Kansas State Coach Chris Klieman Just Officially Announced The Departure Of Three Top Sensational Star Players Due To……

Avery Johnson, the quarterback for Kansas State, surprised everyone by not attempting a single run in the Wildcats’ 45-18 victory over West Virginia on Saturday.

Johnson’s dual-threat ability is well acknowledged. In fact, some people think he’s a better running quarterback than a passing one. He ran 51 times for 296 yards and seven touchdowns the previous season. He has ran 51 times this season for 306 yards and three touchdowns.

With the exception of one game, the sophomore from Wichita has participated in 15 games for the Wildcats and tried at least one run and as many as 17 runs.

It was in West Virginia where the one exception happened. Why? Following Johnson’s abdominal injury at Colorado two weeks prior, the dominant notion was that K-State was trying to shield him. At the conclusion of the game, he also stopped sprinting and scurrying.
