Whatever the quarterback position, Davante Adams has been quite productive on the football field since joining the Las Vegas Raiders a few years ago. However, it looks like Adams’ time with the organization is set to end as he waits to be traded for the second time in his NFL career.
There seems to be a divide between future Hall of Famer Adams and new head coach Antonio Pierce, despite Adams’s insistence that he had no wish to be traded by the Raiders during the NFL summer and his apparent frustration with the unending trade rumors.
Adams is headed out of town; it’s likely that the legendary team will transfer him someplace sooner rather than later, even if it’s unlikely that the public will ever find out why he wants to be traded.
With little control over the issue and no no-trade clause, Adams is waiting to find out what will happen to him. The veteran wide receiver posted a mysterious photo of author Edgar Allen Poe on social media, courtesy of NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Adams’ most likely destination at this point seems to be the New York Jets, since the organization seems interested in bringing superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers back together with his favorite former Green Bay Packers colleague.
Though the Raiders brass has last say over all decisions, it’s impossible to predict where the star wide receiver will end up because a better trade package can be offered by another team.
