“I Want To Leave” Sad News: Boston Bruins Top Sensational Superstar Just Officially Announces His Departure With Bruins Due To…..

It’s no secret that Matthew Tkachuk is despised by Bruins supporters, and when a new NHL documentary series debuts, the Florida Panthers star may solidify his status as a major Boston villain.

The docuseries “Faceoff: Inside the NHL” will debut on Amazon on Friday. It looks into the lives of prominent players like David Pastrnak and William Nylander in addition to providing a comprehensive look into life in the NHL. Jeremy Swayman also starred in the series and shared insight into his contract predicament during last season’s Stanley Cup playoffs.

Unsurprisingly, Tkachuk starred in the series representing the reigning Stanley Cup champions. A scene between Tkachuk and Brad Marchand during the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs the previous season was featured in The Athletic’s list of the series’ best and worst moments.

“Are you all okay? Are you all okay? Tkachuk told Marchand, “I’ve never seen a captain leave his team,” according to The Athletic.

“Hey. In response, Pastrnak said to Marchand, “Don’t even listen to that.”

Bruins fans must be hurting over that. Though the Athletic did not specify when Tkachuk said that, it was probably after Marchand was hit by Sam Bennett in Game 3. The captain of the Boston Bruins missed two games before making a comeback in the sixth game, where Florida defeated Boston.

Any Boston Bruins fan would find the jab irritating because they are aware of how hard Marchand works every time he takes the ice. The 36-year-old has battled through numerous ailments throughout his career, so fans of the Black and Gold may not be too fond of Tkachuk’s disparaging remarks.

Whenever Tkachuk spoke, he also appeared to poke fun at Boston. The All-Star forward got into scuffles with the likes of former Bruins Tomáš Nosek and Linus Ullmark. In previous season’s playoff series, he got into it with Swayman and he brawled with Pastrnak in the closing stages of Game 2.

There won’t be anything to miss when Boston takes on the Panthers at Amerant Bank Arena on Tuesday to start the season.
