The WNBA was altered by Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark during her debut campaign. Clark has elevated the league to new heights, even if it had gained some momentum in recent years. Clark’s fame increased throughout her spectacular rookie campaign, having already grown throughout her famous collegiate career at Iowa.
Clark finished fourth as MVP, averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds while shattering multiple league records. The entire WNBA has gained from Clark’s popularity, but the impact on Indiana has been especially profound. In a major announcement on Monday, Indiana disclosed that Kelly Krauskopf, a former general manager, will rejoin the team in the capacity of President of Basketball and Business Operations for the Fever.
Although Krauskopf’s wish to return to the Fever may not be directly related to what Clark has helped establish, the executive is a well-known admirer of the standout rookie. Krauskopf had been the associate general manager of the Indiana Pacers.
@CClarkReport reposted two posts from Krauskopf in an X post, expressing her endorsement of Clark. Krauskopf has expressed her opinions about Clark in public on other occasions besides these two posts. Krauskopf co-signed a post praising Clark for the development following the Iowa versus.
