According to cllct, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts placed second in the NFL for royalties earned during the previous campaign.
The NFL Players Association provided information to collectibles-news site cllct, which in turn examined NFL player royalty payments from March 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024.
Hurts received $2,692,199 in royalties during that time. With $3,630,340, only quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs had more.

Royalties from licensing sales of player-related merchandise, such as trading cards and jerseys, are received. When a player’s name or likeness is used, a royalties are paid.
Hurts reportedly saw the largest increase in royalties from the 2022 season to the 2023 campaign, taking home roughly $1.8 million more, according to Cllct.
The Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who ranked 16th with $1,479,186 in royalties for the previous season, was the only other player from an Alabama high school or college to finish in the top 25.
Hurts and Tagovailoa were quarterbacks for Alabama in the past. In 2017 and 2018, they were members of the Crimson Tide’s team.
Hurts and Tagovailoa’s former Alabama quarterback was also the top earner of NFL royalties among players with Alabama football ties the previous season. With $1,193,122 for the 2022 season, New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones was ranked 16th in the NFL.
In March, Jones was dealt to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
