Caitlin Clark became the all-time top scorer for a rookie in the history of the WNBA thanks to her incredible rookie campaign. In addition to having the rookie record for most points scored, the Indiana Fever guard leads all WNBA rookies in assists and three-pointers made during their first season of play.

In the Fever’s most recent win over the Dallas Wings, Clark broke the scoring record. She ended with 35 points, 8 assists, and 2 rebounds in that game. Clark topped all players in points and assists during the 110-109 triumph. Following the rookie’s impressive scoring record, the Fever sent a statement regarding Clark on social media. They assured the novice that she is ranked number two, not number two.

“Top 2, and she ain’t 2,” the Indiana Fever wrote on social media. “Caitlin Clark ranks No. 1 among rookies all-time in points, assists and threes.” Clark has averaging 19.5 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game in her first campaign.

She tops the WNBA in average assists and leads all rookies in average points.
