BREAKING NEWS: Philadelphia Eagles Just Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Experienced High Profile Superstar From……

After having spent the previous four seasons of the National Football League with Philadelphia, Jack Driscoll has returned to the Eagles.

The National Football League franchise made the announcement on Tuesday that the former Auburn offensive tackle has been signed to the practice squad of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Driscoll was selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He went on to play in 54 regular-season games and four postseason games, making 17 starts during his time with the team. On March 18, he signed a one-year, $1.79 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, which included a $400,000 signing bonus and $900,000 of guaranteed money. This was the day when he departed Philadelphia as a free agent.

Nevertheless, on August 28, Driscoll was released by the Dolphins, who had been awarded former Park Crossing High School standout Grant DuBose on waivers and needed to make a roster position for the wide receiver. This occurred after Driscoll had survived the preseason-to-regular-season cut with Miami.

While Driscoll was serving his first tour of service in Philadelphia, his primary role was to provide backup for right tackle Lane Johnson, who had been selected to the Pro Bowl five times. Each of Driscoll’s 172 offensive snaps in 2023 came in three games in which Johnson was suffering with ailments. Only eight of those snaps were taken by Driscoll. During the year 2020, Driscoll started four games at right tackle, one game in 2021, two games in 2022, and one game in 2023. He also started eight games at right guard in 2021 and one at left tackle in 2022.

Driscoll returns to the Eagles with a new job on his resume. With the Dolphins, Driscoll started the first and third preseason games at center.
