Practice at Alabama is Jalen Hurts’ favorite college football memory.
Jalen Hurts participated in four College Football Playoffs, reached the national championship game three times, and was on the winning team in three conference championship games during his college football career. He finished second for the Heisman Trophy in 2019 and as the SEC’s offensive player of the year in 2016.
However, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles claimed that practice at Alabama stands out as his best college football memory.
Hurts remarked, “My best memory of college football is from the very beginning, when I enrolled early.” “I was thrown into playing quarterback for the scout team right away, almost like a senior in high school. I was the quarterback for the scout team. On the scout team, I was Deshaun Watson. I quickly learned a lot. I quickly gained their respect, but it wasn’t easy. However, it was enjoyable. Since I made a lot of wonderful friends, I believe that was the best part and my favorite memory of the experience. As a young person, I just gained their respect.”
Hurts came to Alabama in January 2016 after attending Channelview High School in Texas. The Crimson Tide was getting ready to play Clemson in the 2015 CFP national championship game. Hurt, who didn’t actually play in the game, helped Alabama defeat Clemson 45–40 in the championship game by posing as Tigers quarterback Watson.
Hurts is getting ready for his fourth NFL season as the starting quarterback for Philadelphia. In response to a fan’s question for an Eagles video feature that was released on Thursday, he discussed his favorite college football memory.

In response to additional fan inquiries, Hurts stated that he believed he could have been a professional baseball player.
“I think if I had kept playing, I would have been really good at it,” Hurts remarked. “.. I adore baseball. My first love was that one. However, I ignored it. I believe that my choice was the right one.
