Jordan Addison, a wide receiver with the Vikings, was detained in California on Friday night on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, Addison was found asleep at the wheel of a white Rolls-Royce that was obstructing the westbound lanes of traffic when authorities arrived at the scene at 11:30 p.m.
The report also stated that Addison was driving while intoxicated, according to a DUI investigation.
A Vikings representative told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS on Sunday night, “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.”
Addison was caught in St. Paul early on July 20 of last year after speeding on I-94 at 140 mph in a 55 mph zone. Later on, he entered a guilty plea to a minor misdemeanor traffic ticket and settled the case for $686.
