SAD NEWS: Just In Texas Longhorns Head Coach Just Confirm Top Sensational High Profile Superstar Will Leave Due To……

Quinn Ewers, the quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, is already being projected as the Big Easy’s next franchise quarterback, much like Austin native Drew Brees was before him.

The New Orleans Saints are predicted to select Ewers with the 10th overall pick in the first round by ESPN, which updated its way too early 2025 NFL Mock Draft on Tuesday.

This past April, New Orleans selected former Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler in the fifth round; however, with Derek Carr’s future also unclear, adding Ewers to the mix would probably force the Texas star into the starting lineup as a rookie. Of course, a full college and NFL season have yet to be played, so this is still all very hypothetical.

Ewers might raise his draft stock above No. 10 overall with a Heisman-caliber season. Nevertheless, he appears almost certain to go undrafted in the first round, barring a serious injury or a drop in performance.

ESPN said the following regarding the Saints choosing Ewers:

“Going into his third season as a starter at Texas, Ewers possesses talent deserving of a first-overall selection. Although he needs to make fewer bad decisions during games now that he is 21 years old, his accuracy, mobility, and arm strength make him a potential NFL starter. Last season, Ewers passed for 3,479 yards and 22 touchdowns.

On National Signing Day, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian stated of Ewers, “We’re going to need his leadership.” “His leadership will be crucial, especially at the skill positions where we have some new faces on the offensive end of the ball.”

With a 12-1 record and a Big 12 title, Ewers was responsible for 272 of 394 passing yards for 3,479 yards, 22 touchdowns, six interceptions, and five rushing touchdowns for the Longhorns last season. Ewers was also sidelined for two games by an injury.
