INJURY Update: Just In Alabama Crimson Tide Confirm Fans Favorite Top Sensational Superstar Player Injured

Linebacker Drew Sanders of the Denver Broncos will miss a substantial amount of the 2024 NFL season due to an injury sustained during the offseason. Sanders is a former Alabama linebacker.

According to reports from KUSA-TV in Denver, the Denver Post, and ESPN on Monday, Sanders suffered a torn Achilles tendon while participating in the Broncos’ offseason program last month. The injury was repaired through surgery.
According to ESPN, Sanders could be out for six to nine months.

Prior to moving to Arkansas, Sanders played at Alabama for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

Sanders was selected by the Broncos at position 67 in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Sanders participated in all 17 of Denver’s games as a rookie, making four starts. He played in 297 special teams plays and 258 defensive snaps, accounting for 23% of the Broncos’ total playing time. Sanders recovered one fumble, made 24 tackles, and recorded one tackle for loss.

By the end of his rookie season in the NFL, Sanders had switched to playing outside linebacker from inside linebacker.
