Another Transfer Portal Target Emerges on Virginia Tech’s Radar
As the NCAA spring transfer portal window opens from April 16 to April 25, 2025, Virginia Tech is actively seeking to bolster its roster. The Hokies have already made significant additions, including:
- Lucas Austin, an offensive tackle from West Virginia
- Donavon Greene, a wide receiver from Wake Forest
- James Djonkam, a linebacker/defensive end from Eastern Michigan
These acquisitions aim to address key areas, particularly on the offensive line and receiving corps. With the departure of quarterback Davi Belfort, who plans to enter the transfer portal, the Hokies may also look to add depth at the quarterback position
Head coach Brent Pry and his staff are expected to continue evaluating talent to strengthen the team’s competitiveness for the upcoming season. The focus remains on identifying players who can make immediate contributions and fill critical gaps in the roster.
As the transfer window progresses, Virginia Tech’s recruiting efforts will be pivotal in shaping the team’s success for the 2025 season.
