” I Will Leave For Him To Play” Top Experienced Vikings Superstar Officially Leaves U.S. Bank Stadium Today Following Dispute With Coach Over….

Former Vikings quarterback Nick Mullens recently expressed his gratitude after signing with a new team, marking another shift in Minnesota’s ongoing quarterback changes this offseason.

The Minnesota Vikings have already undergone significant changes at the quarterback position. After Sam Darnold opted to sign with the Seattle Seahawks, speculation turned to whether second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy would step in as the new starter. However, another quarterback also departed this offseason, as backup Nick Mullens chose to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency. He is expected to serve as a backup to Trevor Lawrence under new head coach Liam Coen.

Mullens, who spent three seasons in Minnesota, clearly appreciated his time with the team and its culture. After his signing with Jacksonville became official, he took to social media to express his gratitude toward the Vikings’ organization, including the coaching staff, teammates, and fans.

“The culture of Minnesota sports will always be important to me. I’m very thankful for my 3 years in Minnesota. Coaches, teammates, staff, the fans – the place does it right and I’m so thankful I got to be a part of it! SKOL always,” Mullens wrote.

During his time with the Vikings, Mullens played in 13 games and started three. He threw for 1,568 yards, eight touchdowns, and nine interceptions. While his aggressive style of play sometimes resulted in turnovers, he was still a reliable backup for head coach Kevin O’Connell, who allowed him to take chances downfield.

Despite moving on to a new team, Mullens clearly valued his time with the Vikings, and fans will likely appreciate his heartfelt message. As Minnesota embarks on a new era at quarterback, supporters can only hope for success in the upcoming season.

As for the future, one lingering question remains: could Aaron Rodgers actually sign with the Vikings? That speculation continues, but for now, the team’s focus is on building a solid foundation under center.
