The Minnesota Vikings have brought in Jordan Traylor as their new assistant quarterbacks coach, replacing Grant Udinski, who recently joined the Jacksonville Jaguars. Traylor is regarded as a rising talent in the coaching world and brings a wealth of experience from his time with the New Orleans Saints.
Traylor spent the past six seasons with the Saints, taking on multiple roles within the organization. Initially, he worked as a scouting assistant for two years before transitioning to a defensive assistant position. In 2023, he shifted to the offensive side, contributing to the development of quarterbacks and tight ends.

Before his NFL coaching career, Traylor played quarterback at Texas A&M. Following his playing days, he served as a graduate assistant at the University of Texas, where he worked with quarterbacks and wide receivers. He later joined the University of Arkansas as an offensive analyst, focusing on quarterback development.
Football runs in Traylor’s family, as his father, Jeff Traylor, is the head coach at the University of Texas-San Antonio. With his extensive background in both college and professional football, Traylor is expected to help maintain the Vikings’ offensive success under head coach Kevin O’Connell.
