Breaking: Just In Steeler Officially Announced There Interest In Signing former All-Pro 49ers wide receiver With A Huge Multimillion Dollars Contract deal.

Jordan Schultz, a Fox Sports insider, claims that the Pittsburgh Steelers have expressed interest in San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel. The Houston Texans and Washington Commanders are two teams that are even more active than the Steelers and appear to be quite interested in Samuel. Pittsburgh is still involved, but they don’t seem to be leading the pack.

Samuel is still just 29 years old, but is coming off one of his least productive seasons in the NFL. That has left him on the outs in San Francisco, who have already given him permission to seek a trade elsewhere.

Samuel had just over 600 yards last season and dealt with a calf strain for much of the year, limiting his explosiveness. Injuries have racked up over his career, and he is heading into the last year of a massive extension he signed with the 49ers.

The Steelers, if they did trade for him, would likely trade a day-three pick, but it seems likely that Samuel might get cut anyway. That could lead to the Steelers signing him instead without having to give up any draft picks.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have expressed interest in acquiring San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who has been granted permission to seek a trade. Samuel, entering the final year of his contract with a $23.8 million salary, has attracted attention from multiple teams, including the Steelers, Denver Broncos, Washington Commanders, and Houston Texans. The Steelers are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Samuel to a substantial multimillion-dollar contract, aiming to bolster their receiving corps and provide a strong complement to their current wideout, George Pickens. This potential move underscores the Steelers’ commitment to enhancing their offensive lineup for the upcoming season.
