2026 Four-Star QB Schedules Spring Visit to Ohio State
Ohio State is set to host one of the nation’s top quarterbacks in the 2026 recruiting class. The Buckeyes have also been named a top school for a highly-ranked cornerback prospect.
While Ohio State football remains in offseason mode, the arrival of spring means crucial preparations for Ryan Day and his coaching staff. With a mix of new players and staff, the team is working tirelessly to shape its roster for the upcoming season. Additionally, spring practices will play a significant role in determining key position battles.
Recruiting is also a major focus during this time, as Ohio State prepares to welcome top talent for both official and unofficial visits. The list of prospective recruits continues to grow, with the latest addition being four-star quarterback Bowe Bentley from Celina, Texas. Bentley has scheduled an official visit with the Buckeyes on March 19.
However, Ohio State isn’t the only school vying for Bentley’s commitment. Oklahoma, LSU, Florida State, and Georgia Tech are also set to host the talented quarterback. The Buckeyes are still searching for their quarterback of the 2026 class, a challenge given their stacked depth chart at the position. Additionally, they already have a commitment from 2027 five-star QB Brady Edmunds.
Despite being offered by Ohio State on Jan. 30, Bentley has quickly formed a strong relationship with the coaching staff, making the Buckeyes one of his top choices. His recruitment is still in its early stages, but his March visits should provide more clarity on where he might land.
Currently, Bentley ranks as the No. 10 quarterback in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and is listed as the No. 151 overall prospect. He is also ranked No. 18 in Texas, a state known for producing elite football talent.
