Breaking: Eagles Superstar Officially Agree Deal To Join Kellen Moore’s At Saints

Eagles Star Predicted to Leave for Kellen Moore’s Saints

After their dominant performance in Super Bowl LIX, which handed a major blow to the Kansas City Chiefs’ dynasty, the Philadelphia Eagles seem poised to establish their own extended run of success. With key players locked into lucrative contracts, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and running back Saquon Barkley, the Eagles have built a formidable roster. Add in a rising defense, and Philly is set to contend for championships for years to come.

The Eagles’ defensive future is secure with players like Jalen Carter, Quinyon Mitchell, and Cooper DeJean emerging as top-tier talents. However, there are some key role players in need of new contracts. According to The Wright Way Network, Kellen Moore, former Eagles offensive coordinator turned head coach of the New Orleans Saints, could play a pivotal role in poaching talent from Philadelphia in free agency.

The TWSN team predicts that Moore will target three players from the Eagles, including All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun. Baun had a standout season under defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, racking up 151 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, four pass deflections, and an interception. He was named to the Pro Bowl, a finalist for defensive player of the year, and made the AP First Team, with a critical interception in the Super Bowl.

Baun began his career with the Saints as a third-round pick and played four seasons with them. A return to New Orleans could be an ideal fit, with Moore likely pushing the Saints to find the cap space to sign him. While it’s hard to envision Baun leaving Philadelphia after his breakout season in Fangio’s system, he is one of several key players set to hit free agency.

The Eagles will need to free up cap space to potentially extend top pass rusher Josh Sweat, and they will face competition for defensive tackle Milton Williams and right guard Mekhi Becton. While Baun has a strong desire to stay in Philadelphia, a reunion with Moore in New Orleans could make sense if he decides to leave.
