As of January 30, 2025, the Philadelphia Eagles have released tight end Nick Muse from their practice squad.
Nick Muse, a 6-foot-5, 252-pound tight end, was initially drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of South Carolina. He spent parts of three seasons with the Vikings, primarily on their practice squad, appearing in 16 games.
The Eagles had signed Muse to their practice squad on January 22, 2025, but his tenure with the team was brief, leading to his release just over a week later.
This roster move coincides with the Eagles designating defensive end Brandon Graham and tight end C.J. Uzomah to return from injured reserve, potentially impacting the team’s depth at the tight end position.
As of now, there is no indication that Muse’s release was related to any off-field issues or comments. The Eagles have not provided specific reasons for this decision.
