Good News: Carolina Panthers Officially Reached Mutual Agreement To Sign Nine-Time Pro Bowler This Offseason

Panthers Linked to Nine-Time Pro Bowler  This Offseason

Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales showed progress in his first season, guiding the team from just two wins in 2023 to five victories in 2024. Quarterback Bryce Young also took strides in his development, but the Panthers still need to strengthen their roster, particularly on defense.

One key area of concern is the pass rush, which ranked among the league’s worst last season. As the offseason approaches, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler has identified Carolina as a potential suitor for three-time All-Pro edge rusher Khalil Mack.

“The Chargers hope to re-sign Mack, who has been contemplating his future,” Fowler noted. “However, multiple teams, including Atlanta and Carolina, could pursue him to bolster their pass rush.”

Mack, who will be 34 at the start of the season, has yet to win a Super Bowl, which could influence his decision. While Carolina has shown improvement, it’s not widely seen as a title contender, meaning the team may need to offer a lucrative contract to entice him.
