Good News: Top Talented Highly Rated SEC Superstar Offficially Commits To Arkansas Football Over Alabama And LSU

Stanford WR Transfer Joins Arkansas Razorbacks

The Arkansas Razorbacks have added their 18th transfer portal recruit this offseason with the signing of Ismael Cisse, a wide receiver transferring from Stanford. Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds, Cisse is a redshirt freshman from Englewood, Colorado, and will have three years of eligibility at Arkansas.

Cisse announced his commitment two days after completing his official visit to Fayetteville, citing the team’s welcoming atmosphere and coaching staff as key factors in his decision. “The family aspect really stood out,” Cisse said. “I love Coach Fouch, their game plan, and how they want to use me. It’s a great environment and a place I feel I can develop to reach the next level.”

During his visit, Cisse praised the Razorbacks’ supportive culture and competitive opportunities. He sees the SEC’s higher level of competition as a motivating challenge. “SEC ball is a step up—more competition—but I’m ready for it,” he said.

Arkansas’ wide receiver room is undergoing significant changes, with Cisse joining three other transfers in a unit already above the usual scholarship player target. This opens opportunities for players like Cisse to compete for significant playing time.

Known for his strength, Cisse highlighted his physicality as a key asset. His impressive 550-pound squat for a 200-pound player underscores his hard-to-tackle playstyle. “That power comes from the legs,” he said. “I like to get the ball in my hands and make plays.”

Cisse also credited Arkansas wide receivers coach Ronnie Fouch and analyst Dylan Cruz, a former Stanford staffer, for influencing his decision. “Having someone I already know like Coach Cruz is definitely a plus,” he noted.

The Razorbacks are excited about Cisse’s potential as they gear up for the 2025 season. More updates on his commitment will follow.
