The Las Vegas Raiders have nothing to play for nine games into the NFL season, barring a spectacular comeback after all of the offensive staffing changes. The Raiders have three quarterbacks who are below average, a terrible 2-7 record, and virtually little motivation to win games other than pride. They now find that the more losses they sustain, the better positioned they are to be selected in the NFL draft.
Maxx Crosby, an All-Pro pass rusher, might not share the front office’s and fans’ desire for the greatest selection. During an appearance on “Let’s Go,” Crosby stated that he wanted to spoil every team’s season that Las Vegas plays. “The reality is we are what our record is, and it’s 2-7, which is not good,” Crosby stated. Therefore, I believe it to be the Joker.
We may as well destroy everyone’s season if we aren’t going to be the king of the castle at this moment. And I adore that. I enjoy playing the bad guy. Whether it’s divisional rivals like the Denver Broncos or Los Angeles Chargers or a club like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are trying to make it into the playoffs despite their numerous ailments, the Raiders will have plenty of opportunities to ruin some seasons in the last stretch. It’s another matter entirely whether Vegas will benefit from winning any games left in the season.
Crosby and the Raiders will have an opportunity this week to defeat the Miami Dolphins, a 2-6 club expecting to make a run with Tua Tagovailoa back under center, who are on the outside looking in at the postseason picture.
