This weekend, the Crimson Tide will take on Garrett Nussmeier, the finest throwing quarterback in the SEC, according to former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.
McCarron believes that no one else in the SEC is “like him” and is an admirer of what the LSU signal caller can do.
On the McCready & Siskey Podcast, McCarron stated, “I believe LSU will make some points.” They have too many weapons in the open. In terms of throwing ability, I believe they have the finest quarterback in the SEC.
Will he make a mistake or something? Will he try to make things happen? Naturally. Even though he is only a rookie, he is the best thrower in the SEC in terms of timing, anticipation, and touch on the ball. I don’t give a damn. I’ve seen my share of quarterbacks. I am aware of the position and the game, and I can assure you that he is a true master of both. Nuss may have a big day, in my opinion.
Through eight games, Nussmeier has passed for 2,627 yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
It will be difficult for Alabama’s defense to contain the LSU passing threat in the most important game of the season thus far.
