LATEST Raiders NEWS: Las Vegas Raiders Just Officially Announced The Departure Of Another Top Experienced Star Player Due To…..

We are beginning to understand more about the fallout between Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders now that the dust has settled. This week, Las Vegas ultimately granted the great receiver’s request for a trade, sending Adams to the New York Jets in return for a conditional third-round draft pick.

Adams had requested a move a few weeks prior.

The Raiders and Adams came to a disagreement that finally resulted in the trade, as explained in detail in a report published on Friday by ESPN’s Rich Cimini and Paul Gutierrez.

There’s an interesting note in that story that the Raiders thought Adams’ hamstring strain was not as bad as he stated. Cimini and Gutierrez write, “From the team’s perspective, Adams had already checked out.” “The hamstring injury that he suffered at practice Sept. 26 had healed sufficiently that he looked good enough in workouts to have played at Denver, a team source said.”

They give credit to a team member for the information, but considering the circumstances, it makes sense given the facts. Prior to the Raiders’ victory against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4, Adams sustained the injury.

According to a story on ESPN, Adams made an official trade request the day following the match. In light of this, ESPN reports that the team determined he was well enough to participate in Week 5.

Adams was traded a few days after the Raiders’ defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he didn’t play that week either. He didn’t play the following week either. In the end, only Adams is aware of the severity of his hamstring injury. But given that he returned to health right away after signing with the Jets this week, it does appear possible that he had a mental breakdown and that his ailment may not have been as serious as it first appeared.
