Due to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ unexpected choice to start Russell Wilson at quarterback instead of Justin Fields in Week 7 against the New York Jets, they have garnered a lot of attention this week. The team recently received some noteworthy injury updates on a couple of important defenders ahead of this Jets meeting, so that’s not the only drama surrounding their lineup.
Fields has guided Pittsburgh to a 4-2 record thus far, but the Steelers’ defense has been their strongest suit thus far. The team took defensive lineman Montravius Adams off the injury report as their Sunday Night football game drew near, but they did designate safety Damontae Kazee as questionable for the contest due to an ankle issue.
