BREAKING NEWS: Just In Indiana Fever Just Announced The Departure Of Another Two Top Sensational Superstar Due To……

The Indiana Fever lost two games in a row to the Connecticut Sun in the opening round of the WNBA Playoffs, capping an incredible run that began after the Olympic break. In Game 1, the Sun completely outplayed the Fever, 93-69. However, Game 2 was a little different.

Despite trailing in the fourth quarter, Connecticut managed to win it all thanks to a crucial three-pointer made by Marina Mabrey. In response to what many believe to be hurtful remarks made about the former Iowa star in the first quarter, Clark called security to have the fan removed.

But the fan came back a few minutes later. Indiana coach Christie Sides reportedly brought up the vitriol her players had been subjected to all season long after the game, as reported by SB Nation’s Noa Dalzell.

“It’s a lot of hurtful, hateful speech out there that’s happening, and it’s unacceptable,” Sides stated. “They handled it and kept showing up and kept coming in our locker room and kept finding ways to get better.” It’s not just Clark and the Fever who have had to face with harsh remarks this season.

Players Dana Evans and Isabelle Harrison of the Chicago Sky even spoke out about the abusive behavior of fans this season. Clark ended with 25 points on 10-of-23 shooting, six rebounds, and nine assists in the final game of her rookie campaign.

She is currently the only rookie to record a triple-double, has the most assists in a single season, and has the most points of any rookie in WNBA history.
