Following their defeat in Game 2 of the WNBA playoffs by the Connecticut Sun, the Indiana Fever saw their season come to an end on Wednesday. Young stars Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark, along with head coach Christie Sides, spoke with the media after the loss.
One reporter wanted the Sides to consider the season while Clark and Boston were questioned on specifics of the game from Wednesday’s setback. Sides said how pleased she is of her team for developing as a unit both on and off the court.
She said that although Indiana had a difficult start to the season—opening with a 1-8 record—the Fever managed to turn things around. The coach of the Fever thinks that what Indiana was able to do was “unprecedented,” and she praised the players for persevering till the end.
