SAD NEWS: Just In Philadelphia Eagles Just Announced The Departure OF Another Fans Favorite Top Sensational Star Player Due To……

After a back-and-forth defensive struggle, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New Orleans Saints 15–12 on Sunday in Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season. With 17 rushes for 147 yards and two scores, Saquon Barkley carried the Eagles’ offense in the fourth quarter and proved to be the game-changer.

After trailing for the majority of the game, the Eagles rallied to win thanks to his 65-yard rushing score. Although Barkley’s heroics and the victory will delight the Eagles, they were unable to avoid injury problems. Britain Covey, a wide receiver and punt return specialist, suffered one of the more serious injuries.

Eagles play-by-play commentator Merrill Reese reports that Covey will be out for at least six weeks due to a broken shoulder bone. Even though Covey’s injury hasn’t been formally confirmed by the Eagles, he will probably be placed on injured reserve, meaning he will have to miss at least four weeks of play.

With an astounding 14.4-yard average per return to finish second in the league in 2023, Covey became one of the NFL’s best punt returners. Britain Covey, a punt returner with the Philadelphia Eagles, averaged 14.4 yards per return in 2023. Image courtesy of Mark J.

Brown’s hamstring ailment has kept him out of the last two games, while DeVonta Smith’s contentious hit during the Saints game resulted in a concussion. The only healthy receivers still on the Eagles’ active roster are Johnny Wilson and Jahan Dotson.
