SAD NEWS: Just In Justin Jefferson Just Turn Down News Contract Offer And Confirm He Want To Leave Due To……

Star Wide receiver Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings was forced to miss the team’s second game due to a quad injury. However, Jefferson appears to be a more and more likely starter as the Vikings get ready for their Week 3 matchup with the Houston Texans.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the wide receiver took part in Minnesota’s walkthrough on Wednesday. He seems to be on schedule to play for the Texans.

However, the Vikings’ injury reports over the course of the week will be insightful. If Jefferson can play, it depends depend on how much he practices. Jefferson, according to head coach Kevin O’Connell, was just “feeling good” on Monday, according to Ben Goessling of the Minnesota Star Tribune. Jefferson’s participation in the Wednesday walkthrough is another encouraging indication of his availability for Week 3.

For the Vikings, even a single game without Jefferson would be devastating. With an average of 25.5 points per game over two weeks, they are ranked ninth in the league. With an average of 229 yards per game, Minnesota’s passing offense, led by rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, is ranked sixth.

Justin Jefferson is Darnold’s preferred recipient of passes when he passes the ball. The receiver leads the club in receptions with eight receptions for 192 yards and two scores. Jefferson is a vital component of Minnesota’s offense and an explosive playmaker.
