BREAKING NEWS: Just In Hugh Freeze Confirm Another Fans Favorite Top Sensational Star Player Just Announced His Departure Ahead Of…..

In their 45-19 victory over New Mexico, the Auburn Tigers prioritized running the football.

Throwing the ball was challenging due to the rainy weather, and running back Jarquez Hunter had to carry more weight to support the offense.

On 20 carries, Hunter gained 152 yards and one touchdown. In this inaugural game of his college career, Hunter received twenty touches.

When you have the chance to run the ball, it’s enjoyable, according to Hunter. “You have to seize every chance, and as running backs, it’s enjoyable, and I think we did a respectable job doing it.”

Hunter wasn’t the only Auburn running back to have a successful evening. Jeremiah Cobb scored 34 yards on seven carries, while Damari Alston contributed 80 yards on ten carries. As a team, the Tigers gained 268 yards of rushing.

Hunter stated, “It just starts in practice.” “In practice, we ran the ball a lot, ran the plays, and carried them out. It simply carried over into the game. Next week, I believe we need to carry out the same action.”

Hunter not only had a fantastic night on the ground but also participated in the receiving game, catching a touchdown ball that was 14 yards in length.

Hunter remarked, “I see everybody just bail out.” “I made an effort to move slowly in order to ensure that they wouldn’t put any pressure on me at the end and leave me vulnerable.”

Hank Brown was starting at quarterback for the first time for Auburn in this game, marking his first offensive coordinator change. Although Brown still has some areas to work on, Hunter felt that his outing was solid.

Hunter stated, “I think Hank (Brown) did good for his first start.” “Always space for development, but I believe he performed admirably.”

In order to accommodate injuries, Auburn had to shuffle a few players on the offensive line. Hunter was happy with the show that the group produced.

Hunter stated, “I think the o-line did great, they did their job.” “They carried out their assigned duties.”

Next Saturday, Hunter and the Tigers will play their first SEC game at Jordan-Hare Stadium against Arkansas. The game will go off at 2:30 p.m. CT, and ESPN will broadcast it.
