SAD NEWS: Just In Miami Dolphins Just Announced The Departure Of Two Fans Favorite Top Sensational Star Due To…..

167 current NFL players are fighting for membership into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025, including two legends of the Miami Dolphins. The team’s top nominees are 2002 NFL rushing yards leader Ricky Williams and four-time All-Pro left tackle Richmond Webb.

There are 94 offensive players, 56 defensive players, and 17 special teams players on the list of potential Hall of Fame inductees, which was released on Thursday. The list will be whittled down to 50 nominations by a screening committee, and then the Hall of Fame Selection Committee will identify the 25 semifinalists.

Before Super Bowl LIX, the final 15 nominees will be debated and voted upon. Three to five players from the modern period will be admitted into the Class of 2025.

Richmond-Webb
Richmond Webb, who was selected ninth overall in the 1990 NFL Draft, spent ten years as the center of the Dolphins’ offensive line. He was selected to seven Pro Bowls and twice made the First Team All-Pro team. He was a member of the All-Decade squad in the 1990s and had 118 straight game starts.

Webb is the only tackle from the 1990s All-Decade squad who isn’t in the Hall of Fame, despite never making it to the semifinals. Webb limited NFL all-time sack leader Bruce Smith to just 3.5 sacks in 14 games against him.

Williams Ricky
After being traded to the Dolphins for four draft selections, including two first-round picks, Ricky Williams made an impression on Miami right away. The 2002 season saw the 1998 Heisman Trophy winner rush for at least 100 yards in ten games, culminating in a league-high 1,853 rushing yards.

Throughout his 11-year career, Williams played for the Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, and Baltimore Ravens, averaging 4.1 yards per carry and amassing 10,009 running yards. In addition to catching 342 of 466 targets for 2,606 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, he also reached the 1,000-yard mark in running five times.
