Brayden Narveson of the Green Bay Packers was not flawless for the second straight game. Last Sunday, the Colts defeated the Eagles 16-10 at home, and he again went 3-of-4.

In the third quarter of their game on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Green Bay place kicker Brayden Narveson (44), of Green Bay, makes a field goal. The Green Bay Packers triumphed 16–10 over the Indianapolis Colts.
Head coach Matt LaFleur of the Packers remains confident in the undrafted rookie despite Narveson’s two misses.

Thanks to Packers Wire’s Zach Kruse:

“Pretty patient, in my opinion,” LaFleur remarked on Monday. “I like his talent and his way of thinking. There will be some highs and lows. Ideally, there will be more highs than lows. He has, in my opinion, done a really good job. We all know that he needs to make that field goal, but if he finds himself in that position once more, I have no doubt that he will.

This season, Narveson has missed just once, both times falling between 40 and 49 yards. He failed on a 45-yard attempt at Lambeau Field and a 43-yard effort in Brazil.

The Packers cut both Greg Joseph and Anders Carlson shortly before the season began, and Narveson was brought in to start. Narveson played in the preseason for the Tennessee Titans before to joining the Packers, but the AFC South team cut him in late August of last year.

Narveson has made six of his eight field goals attempts through two games. On attempts for extra points, he is also 3-of-3. He has the opportunity to make amends in Week 3 against his old team, the Packers, who play the Titans this coming Sunday in Nashville.
