On Friday night, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will take on the Las Vegas Aces for the second time in three days. The Fever fell to 0-3 against the Aces in 2024 on Wednesday following an 86-75 setback.

The former Iowa Hawkeyes standout scored 16 points on 6-of-22 shooting and dished out six assists in what was maybe her poorest game since the WNBA returned from the Olympic break. With an average of 35.8, Clark is the second-most minutes per game in the league, trailing only Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale’s 38.6 minutes per game. The rookie’s workload has undoubtedly worn her out, but with the playoffs approaching, the month off has allowed her to find her stride again. In order to have Clark fresh for the postseason, coach Sides may want to consider giving her some time off.
