The Green Bay Packers were eager to get things started with a significant win in Brazil going into their game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday. Rather, they took a 0-1 record on their flight home.
The current condition of standout quarterback Jordan Love, who had a lower-body injury late in the Eagles game, is even more troubling.
Love sustained a left knee injury during the game’s last Packers drive. He lay in pain on the ground for a few minutes before standing up and making his way to the sidelines.
Love’s injury was later determined to be a sprained MCL, which is far better than what many had assumed.
But according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Love is not anticipated to play for several weeks.
According to sources, #Packers quarterback Jordan Love’s initial recovery timeline is between three and six weeks. And there’s early hope that, with a second view, he might make a quick recovery.
Love completed 17 of 34 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in the Eagles’ 34-29 defeat.
