SAD NEWS: Just In Los Angeles Rams Confirm Fans Favorite Top Sensational Superstar Just Open Up Why He Announced His Shocking Departure Due To…..

In the same week when Darious Williams is expected to miss four games due to injury, the Los Angeles Rams’ cornerback depth chart appears dire, former Ram Jalen Ramsey has reached an agreement to sign a market-resetting contract extension with the Miami Dolphins.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Ramsey’s new contract, which is valued at $72.3 million over three years, would once again make him the best paid cornerback in the NFL. Following Patrick Surtain’s new contract with the Denver Broncos, which briefly put him at the top of the league’s CB salary, comes this extension.

As part of their defense retooling and youth movement, Los Angeles traded Ramsey to Miami during the previous summer. In exchange, LA was given TE Hunter Long and a third-round pick. OLB Byron Young, the third-round draft choice, had eight sacks as a rookie and is expected to start this season opposite this year’s first-round pick, Jared Verse. Although Long sustained a season-ending knee injury near the close of the 2023 campaign, he is well and took part in the preseason. With second-year tight end Davis Allen and free agency signing Colby Parkinson, he’ll probably play a rotational role.

Could Ramsey have more left in him than the Rams believed a year ago, or are the Dolphins taking a big chance on a player who might be nearing the end of his career?
