The Philadelphia Eagles will play their first-ever NFL game in South America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on September 1, 2024, when Jalen Hurts and company take on the Green Bay Packers.
Hurts, who had never traveled to the continent before, is taking this chance to witness action in Brazil to consider his accomplishments to date in his football career.
According to Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Hurts stated, “My spirit is full of gratitude to be here and just having the opportunity to come this far in this journey and to be where we are. [I’ve] really just [been] reflecting on how [far] the journey has come for me.”
Hurts is excited to get the Eagles off to a strong start this season, given how the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2023 season went, with a tough final stretch before an unexpected loss to Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Bucs in the wild-card round eliminated them from contention.
