SAD NEWS: Just In Boston Bruins Confirm Another Fans Favorite Jeremy Swayman Just Decline Contract Extension And Sign With Rivals……

The Boston Bruins’ unsigned goalie, Jeremy Swayman, is the only unresolved subplot going into September. Swayman has been vocal about his contract discussions, in contrast to Brad Marchand, who stated this week that they would remain confidential between him and the Bruins.

To make matters worse, Ryan Whitney of the Spittin’ Chicklets podcast reported that Swayman was extended an offer by the Bruins for four seasons at a salary of $6.2 million per. Rich Keefe of WEEI recently reported that Swayman was requesting $10 million year, and this past Sunday, Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe noted that the impasse between the two parties might have an unexpected conclusion. After you’ve had a chance to gather yourself, an NHL analyst is urging the Bruins and Swayman to call it quits and finalize a deal.

Paul Bissonnette demands that Jeremy Swayman and the Bruins reach an agreement.
Whitney further stated on the podcast that Swayman had called the Bruins to try to work out a deal, and I’ll believe that if it’s verified by one party. However, TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette took to X to urge Swayman and the Bruins to break the impasse and reach an agreement before the season begins.

“I’m genuinely annoyed that these two individuals are unable to resolve their differences. Here we have (explicit delete). Why do they not answer Sway’s calls? Let the drama end already. 8×8.65 and give it a big hug. Come to your senses, @NHLBruins,” he wrote.

Bissonnette’s opinion speaks for all Boston Bruins supporters. It is imperative that this be completed prior to the start of training camp later this month. If there is a positive indication, it is that Swayman has been practicing as a captain this week at Warrior Ice Arena, even though he is not under contract. Things on Causeway Street might become interesting if this isn’t completed by the start of camp or the regular season.
