SAD NEWS: Just In Miami hurricanes Just Announced The Departure Of Two Top Experienced High Profile Superstar Due To……

Before four-star American Heritage running back Byron Louis announced his pledge on September 21, the Miami football team still had some catching up to do. According to 247Sports and On3, Florida State is the front-runner for a Louis commitment.

Using their Recruiting Prediction Machine, On3 estimates a 91.7 percent possibility of a commitment for Florida State. Zach Blostein of Noles247 has recorded Louis’s lone 247Sports crystal ball. According to On3, Miami has a 3.6 percent chance of landing a Louis commitment, while Georgia’s is at 1.7 percent.

Less than three percent of Wisconsin’s prospects are classified as having a Louis commitment. In June, Louis paid formal visits to Florida State, Miami, Wisconsin, and Georgia, in that order. Georgia and Florida State both have four visits to Miami, while Louis has the most with nine visits.

As a junior in 2023, Louis ran for 1,224 yards and eighteen touchdowns, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. Louis finished high school with 1,849 running yards and 31 touchdowns. That includes 11 touchdowns in 2024 as a sophomore. At American Heritage, Miami sophomore running back Mark Fletcher came before Louis.

Girard Pringle Jr., a four-star Seffner and Armwood recruit, is the lone running back in the 2025 class that has committed to Miami. Miami might only sign one running back in the 2025 draft class. Every running back on the Miami roster is still eligible after 2024. After 2024, four Miami wide receivers will still be eligible for at least three seasons.

Darryl Porter and Damari Brown, the starting cornerbacks for Miami, are also alumni of American Heritage. In the 247Sports composite rankings, the 2025 Miami class is presently ranked 10th. While Louis would undoubtedly be a great addition to the Miami class of 2025, the Hurricanes are still in the running for another select set of players.
