SAD NEWS: Just In New England Patriots Coach Jerod Mayo Announced Season Ending Injury Of Another Top Sensational Star Due To……

The Patriots plan to replace Christian Barmore “by-committee”.

After receiving a blood clot diagnosis in July, Barmore will be out for the duration of the season, if not longer. The Patriots, who signed him to a four-year contract extension this offseason after realizing the effect he can have, will really miss the 25-year-old and will likely need to adjust their lineup in order to replace his output.

The presence of Daniel Ekuale could be very helpful in achieving that.

When asked which interior defenders the Patriots will be counting on in 2024, head coach Jerod Mayo mentioned Davon Godchaux and Jeremiah Pharms Jr. Mayo also saw to ensure that “Dan” received his due credit.

Story continues beneath the pop-up.

“You can also include Dan there. As per the transcript supplied by the team, Mayo stated, “He’s one of these guys who’s a penetrator.” He is a good player for us, and we know exactly what he is. On third down, we also have guys who can slide inside from the outside, the perimeter. All of them are considerations we have considered.”

Since coming to New England, Ekuale has made a contribution, spending the most of his three seasons in a late-down position. In 2023, it appeared as though the Patriots would give him more responsibility; however, a biceps injury cut short his season after just three games.
