SAD NEWS: Just In New York Yankees Coach Aaron Boone Just Announced Season Ending Injury Of Another Two Top Sensational Star Players Due To…….

It seems that Jazz Chisholm Jr. is not out, but down.

Chisholm, the trade acquisition of the New York Yankees, has avoided surgery on his ailing left elbow (for the time being), according to a story published on Friday by Greg Joyce of the New York Post. Chisholm has apparently been advised to undergo rest and rehabilitation instead of surgery after consulting with many physicians.

The Yankees are optimistic that Chisholm will be able to play again this season, “probably” in September, Joyce continues.

The 28-year-old former All-Star Chisholm was only acquired by the Yankees from the Miami Marlins late last month in a pre-trade deadline transaction. He had played in just 14 games and was batting.316, with seven home runs, during his fantastic first few weeks in the Bronx. Even at the unfamiliar position the Yankees had requested him to play, Chisholm was holding up nicely.

However, earlier this week, on a slide into home plate against the Chicago White Sox, Chisholm injured his left elbow’s UCL (see the video here). Just two weeks into his Yankees career, Chisholm has already maintained the pattern of injuries he experienced while with the Marlins.

The Yankees and Baltimore Orioles are now tied for first place in the AL East division at 72-50. The Yankees will still need to press over the next few weeks even though Chisholm has some time to heal before the regular season ends on September 29.
