This season in Manhattan, it won’t be difficult to find Avery Johnson on or off the field. The Kansas State quarterback stands out for having long, golden hair that shows through even when he is wearing a football helmet. He now drives an automobile that is as iconic. Thanks to a NIL agreement he has with Long McArthur Luxury,
Johnson is now the proud owner of a lavender Corvette that you won’t find anywhere else in the Little Apple. The Salina-based car company delivered the sports car to Johnson this week, and they posted some photos of him using it on social media, showing him cruising the Bill Snyder Family Stadium parking lot.
“We fulfilled the request of one of our athlete partners for a custom, unique lavender Corvette!” McArthur Luxury sent a lengthy message on social media. This football season, Avery Johnson will be traveling in luxury! Is everyone eager for the season to begin?
The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette’s retail price ranges from about $70,000 to about $90,000, depending on the model and extras. Naturally, that does not account for the additional expense of having the car painted lavender. As a sophomore this season, Johnson is expected to assume the role of K-State’s unquestionable starting quarterback. He ran for 296 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie in addition to throwing for 479 yards and five touchdowns. For the duration of his college career, he is anticipated to serve as the face of K-State football. He can now practice because he has a fancy automobile.
