SAD NEWS: Just In New York Yankees Confirm Two Top Sensational Star Players Just Announced Shocking Departure…………

In order to enable Jeter Downs to play in Japan, the New York Yankees stated on Tuesday that they had released the infield player.

According to the Yankees, Downs signed a contract with the Pacific League Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball on Monday after being released.

Downs was involved in two significant trades since being selected in the first round by the Cincinnati Reds in 2017. In 2018, he was traded by the Reds to the Dodgers along with Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig. Then, as part of the transaction for Mookie Betts in 2020, the Dodgers sent Downs to the Red Sox.

In 2022, Downs debuted in Major League Baseball with Boston. The previous season, he played in just a few games with the Washington Nationals. In his 20 MLB games, he has batted.182, with one home run and two doubles.

Playing for the Yankees in Triple-A this season, Downs has amassed 17 doubles, 10 home runs, and 15 stolen bases with a slugging percentage of.498.

With a 59-29 record as of Tuesday, the Hawks sit atop the Pacific League.
