WAFB, BATON ROUGE, LA – Harold Perkins Jr., a freshman linebacker for LSU, is reportedly tackling opponents’ quarterbacks off the field as well as on it, according to staff members.
Perkins is said to have a strong commitment to his studies. The Texas native, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 220-pounds, was selected as the team’s Scholar Athlete of the Week.
He had five tackles and 1.5 sacks in Mississippi State’s 31-16 loss to LSU.
