Another Sad News: Just In Dallas Mavericks Head Coach Just Confirm Three Top Sensational High Profile Superstars Injured Due To…….

The Dallas Mavericks have almost had a flawless offseason these past several weeks.

They began by moving Quentin Grimes to the Detroit Pistons for Tim Hardaway Jr. and three second-round choices. They then signed Naji Marshall as a free agent. Though their most significant change came a few days later, both of those trades improved the Mavs’ shooting and defense.

Klay Thompson signed a contract with Dallas through a sign-and-trade, and the Mavs will likely start him going forward as their small forward. While everyone is currently delighted about this trade, Mavs supporters are everything but thrilled with the recent news regarding star point guard Kyrie Irving.

The Mavericks have high hopes for Kyrie Irving’s readiness for training camp.
Irving injured his left hand during a practice earlier this month, and Mavs PR reports that he has already had surgery to fix it. Although this is precisely the news Mavs supporters were hoping to avoid regarding their star guard, a Dallas source did offer some insight into the team’s assessment of Irving’s condition.

There is “optimism,” a team source tells ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, that Irving will be ready to go when training camp starts in September. Given Irving’s significance to the franchise, this is encouraging news. The Mavs PR stated that more information on the injury will be released when “appropriate.”

Given that the offseason is in full swing, this injury happened at a favorable time. Hopefully, Irving’s hand injury won’t have a significant impact on his play. Irving was really dominant with his left hand down the stretch, which is encouraging given that it’s his off-hand.

He finishes around the rim primarily with his left hand, so don’t worry—if he recovers fully, he should be able to revert to his previous level of finishing. Irving was healthy throughout Dallas’ postseason run, so maybe he can recover from this and return to his previous level of durability.

It’s encouraging to hear from a Mavs team source that Irving may be able to return for training camp. We’ll keep you updated on any new information on this injury as it becomes available.

Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest on Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks.
